Questions
How do you know a sale came from my link?
Your link goes through a Meta short link made for you alone. Meta counts the purchases made within 30 days of someone opening it and reports them to us. Meta counts only signed-in viewers and estimates the rest, so the totals are Meta's figures, not ours.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, by email, as Meta Store gift card codes, once your earnings reach $15. We wait until a purchase is past Meta's refund window, about 30 days, before we count it. Anything under $15 rolls over to the next month.
Meta doesn't sell gift cards where I live. Can I still join?
Yes. Choose your country on the form and we'll agree another way to pay the same value, for example a bank transfer or PayPal.
Do my viewers pay more?
No. They pay the normal store price, and your link takes them straight to the game's store page.
Can I buy through my own link?
No. Purchases by you, your household or accounts you control don't count, and neither do clicks bought from ads that bid on "RealBat".
Is there a free version my viewers can try first?
Yes. The browser demo runs free in the Quest browser at play.realbatvr.com. It's a good thing to show on camera. Point people to your link for the full game: matches, every ground and the leaderboards.
Can I change my link name later?
Write to us before you've posted it widely. After that it's best to keep it: old posts keep working only with the name you started with.
Program terms
- Who can join. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. We approve each creator ourselves and may decline an application without giving a reason.
- Your link. You get one personal link, rbcvr.com/yourname. It sends visitors to RealBat Cricket VR on the Meta Horizon Store through a Meta short link made for you.
- What counts. A purchase of RealBat Cricket VR on the Meta Horizon Store made within 30 days of a visitor opening your link, as reported by Meta, and not refunded. Meta's reported figures are final.
- Your share. 20% of the sale price the buyer paid, before tax, unless we've agreed a different share with you in writing.
- Payment. Monthly, in Meta Store credit (digital gift card codes, by email), once you're owed $15 or more. Where Meta sells no gift cards, we'll pay the same value another way we agree with you. You're responsible for any tax on what you earn.
- What doesn't count. Purchases by you, your household or accounts you control. Clicks from paid search ads on "RealBat" or our names. Incentivised, bought or automated clicks. Spam. Links in Meta Horizon Store reviews.
- Be honest. Label posts that carry your link as an ad or affiliate link (for example #ad), as the law in most countries asks. Don't claim to speak for RealBat, and don't make claims about the game that aren't true.
- Our name and footage. You may use the RealBat Cricket VR name, logo, trailer and screenshots in posts about the game. Don't use them in a way that suggests the post is ours.
- Changes and ending. We may change these terms or end the program with 30 days' notice by email. Either of us can end your place at any time. If you break these terms, unpaid earnings from the breach are forfeited. Otherwise we pay what you've earned up to the end.
- Your data. We keep what you give on the form to run the program, and count visits to your link with addresses kept only as a one-way hash. See the privacy policy. Questions: reply to any email from us.
